Hernandez Construction completed the development of Bridge Point AVE industrial park in 2021, on a speculative basis, after Bridge acquired the 50-acre site in the AVE Aviation and Commerce Centre through a creative lease assignment with Miami-Dade County in October 2019. The industrial park comprises three buildings with a total area of 589,887 square feet and was fast-tracked to meet market demand. Bridge Point AVE industrial park is now fully occupied, serving leading retail brands, the world’s largest e-commerce retailer Amazon, as well as grocer Kroger, and specialty food products distributor Chef’s Warehouse. The project’s modern facilities and unparalleled location, which provide temperature-controlled space, have made it possible to serve the growing market of online grocery sales and imported perishables from South and Central America. The industrial park’s strategic location, nearby major expressways, ensures easy accessibility to the tri-county region, allowing vehicles to reach even the farthest parts in under 90 minutes – a key component for any successful industrial project.
