The project features best-in-class specifications and transforms the South Florida industrial landscape.
The process included a goal to fast-track the project development in order to meet local market demand. Hernandez efficiently delivered all three buildings and was awarded several of the TI’s, including a new state-of-the-art prototype store buildout for Amazon, the world’s largest e-commerce retailer, and the first fulfillment center in South Florida for Kroger Co., the largest supermarket chain the U.S.
Building MIA2 is a 279,499 SF build-to-suit facility for Amazon building featuring various sizes and depths while providing all of the Class A specs such as; 24’ to 36’ clear heights, ESFR Suppression systems, rear load & cross dock opportunities. The Hernandez Construction team went from pouring final exterior footing to a completely decked structure the size of 6 football fields in less than 30 days, tilting 106+ panels!
Hernandez Construction has successfully helped Kroger Co., the largest supermarket chain in the U.S., fast-track their launch in the South Florida market with their first fulfillment center in South Florida, a 64,000 square-foot tenant improvement in Building L. delivering 61,500 square feet of Class A warehouse space and 2,500 square feet of office in just 90 days.
